Charles Fine Art Portraits

Each year, Charles Fine Art Portraits donates more than one hundred thousand dollars in goods and funds to worthy causes in the greater Portland area. Here are a few of the larger projects that Charles has undertaken for the good of the community.

• The Kids of Portland Project &

  Doernbecher Children's Hospital

  Currently, Charles is in the process of creating a coffee-table book to raise funds for Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Charles will be photographing 300 children from the Portland area for the “Kids of Portland” project. The fee to put your child in this book goes entirely to Doernbecher. • Artful Education

  Charles also did all of the photography for the Artful Education Calendar project, to raise funds for art and music education in the Portland Public Schools. The incredibly fun and humorous images from the calendar can be seen here.

• Girls, Inc.

  For the past 5 years, Charles has created portraits of the “Pursonalities” and girls for the program for the Girls, Inc. “Power of the Purse” event.
